Position Description | The Departments of History and African and African American Studies seek to appoint a tenure-track professor in the History of Modern Africa (focus on sub-Saharan Africa, field open). The appointment is expected to begin on July 1, 2024. The tenure-track professor will be responsible for teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels. |
Basic Qualifications | Doctorate or terminal degree in History or related discipline required by the time the appointment begins. |
Additional Qualifications | Demonstrated strong commitment to teaching and advising is desired. |
